Pricing

How much does mini golf hire cost?

Our pricing is straightforward:

  • Office Fun Zone — Weekly: $2,000 inc. GST (equipment $1,750 + delivery & setup $250)
  • Office Fun Zone — Monthly: $6,000 inc. GST
  • Kids Parties: $530 flat rate for 2 hours (no per-head charges)
  • Weddings & Celebrations: $1,150 for up to 6 hours (lawn games included free)
  • Corporate Events: from $2,000 — get a tailored quote →

Travel is factored into quotes for locations outside metropolitan Melbourne.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. The price you're quoted is the price you pay. Delivery and setup are included in all packages except where separately itemised. We'll always be upfront about travel costs before you confirm.

Do you charge per head?

Never. Our pricing is flat regardless of how many guests you have — whether it's 10 people or 200, the rate stays the same.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, a deposit is required to secure your booking. Full payment details are provided when you confirm. We'll always send you a clear booking confirmation before any money is exchanged.

Is GST included?

Yes — all prices shown are inclusive of GST.

Setup & Logistics

How long does setup take?

Typically 2–3 hours for a full 9-hole course. We always arrive well before your event starts so everything is ready when your guests arrive.

How much space do you need?

The 9-hole course is flexible and can be configured to suit your available space. As a general guide, a clear area of around 10m x 6m works well. Share your venue details when you enquire and we'll advise on the best layout.

Can mini golf be set up indoors?

Yes — we set up indoors and outdoors. Offices, foyers, ballrooms, marquees, backyards, gardens, halls, warehouses and rooftops — we've worked in them all.

Do you need a level surface?

A reasonably level surface makes for the best play experience. We'll always discuss your venue with you before confirming — if there are any challenges with the surface, we'll let you know upfront.

What if it rains?

For outdoor events, we recommend having a backup covered space available (undercover area, marquee, indoor space). For indoor events, weather isn't a concern. Let us know your setup when you enquire and we'll help you plan for it.

Supervision & Safety

Do you stay onsite during the hire?

For kids parties and corporate events, yes — our team stays for the entire hire. This is also a requirement for our public liability insurance to be active on kids and celebration hires. For Office Fun Zone monthly installations (adults only, controlled workplace environment), the course can be left unsupervised between staff play sessions.

Are your staff Working With Children certified?

Yes — every Lucky Shot team member holds a current, valid Working With Children (WWC) certificate. You can ask to see it on the day.

What insurance do you carry?

We carry $20 million public liability insurance on every hire. Our corporate policy covers workplace installations; our events policy covers all kids and celebration hires with a staff member present. Venue insurance requirements are met as standard on all bookings.

Is the equipment safe for children?

Yes. All equipment is designed with safety in mind — soft-backed holes, foam ball options for younger children, and lightweight clubs in child-appropriate sizes. Our team supervises throughout all kids hires.

Bookings & Availability

How far in advance do I need to book?

We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred date. For popular periods — EOFY, Christmas in July, Footy Finals season, Spring Racing and the Christmas/New Year period — dates can fill weeks or months in advance. Kids party weekends also book fast. Get in touch as soon as your date is confirmed.

What areas do you service?

We're based in Bonbeach in Melbourne's south-east, about 30 minutes from the CBD. We service Melbourne CBD and surrounds as standard, and travel anywhere in Victoria. Travel is simply factored into your quote upfront, so you always know the full cost before you commit. Our furthest booking to date was Swan Hill.

Do you travel outside Melbourne?

Yes. We come to you wherever you are in Victoria. Just tell us your location when you enquire and we'll include travel in your upfront quote — no surprises.

What happens if I need to reschedule?

Life happens — get in touch as soon as possible and we'll do our best to accommodate a reschedule. Please contact us directly to discuss your options.

Lawn Games

What lawn games are included?

Our lawn games collection includes Giant Jenga, Giant Connect Four, Giant Checkers, Giant Snakes & Ladders, Bocce, Croquet and more. Giant Checkers and Giant Snakes & Ladders are particularly popular — and not something you'll find included for free elsewhere. The full selection is confirmed at booking.

Is there an extra charge for lawn games?

No — lawn games are included at no extra cost in all wedding and celebration packages. This is one of the key things that sets Lucky Shot apart from other hire companies.

Are lawn games available for corporate events too?

Yes — ask about lawn games when you enquire for corporate events and we'll include them in your quote.
